Grade 12 Graduation

A very special event is happening on Tuesday 22nd June. HUBS will be celebrating it's third Graduation Ceremony for Grade 12 students. This event is the culmination of twelve years of hard work and academic achievement, and we are very proud of our HUBS graduates. Congratulations to the Class of 2021!

Qatar Week
6th – 10th December, 2020
Hayat School will be celebrating Qatar national week during 6th– 10th December. Students engage in various activities learning about Qatar heritage and culture in this week. Teachers will be planning individual activities with their students. On December 10th students will be allowed to wear traditional clothes.

Ms. Francine, our Off School Representative, will be presenting information about the BC Curriculum. Ms. Francine has extensive experience as an educator in BC and is helping, supporting and advising us as we implement the program. She will explain how the curriculum relates to past practices in education. Information about the types of assessment used at HUBS will be shared with you. She also looks forward to answering any questions you might have about the program.

Parent Council Meeting

HUBS annual Parent Council Meeting will take place online on 19th of October 2020, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. The meeting is to discuss new issues with the school and students, and listen to parents suggestions.

Back to School Open House
27th – 28th September, 2020
This year HUBS will hold its annual Open House virtually on, Sunday, September 27th from 3 – 5 pm for Prek – G7 and Monday, September 28th from 3 – 5 pm for G8 – G12. During this day you can drop in to your child’s teacher’s Zoom room (click on the teacher’s name to access his/her Zoom room) for 15 minutes to hear what is happening in the classroom. We look forward to seeing you there!
