● Hayat is one of Canada British Columbia private schools

Hayat Universal School (HUBS) Qatar is a British Columbia (BC) Certified Offshore School. As such, Hayat is a private school in the Canadian British Columbia Education System. It must undergo the same certification process as all private schools in the Canadian Province of British Columbia. Certification is the process through which the BC Ministry of Education grants approval for private schools to start and monitors their operations and implementation of every aspect of the BC Education System.

● Hayat G1-G12 students are students of the British Columbia Ministry of Education

Every student registered in G1-G12 at Hayat is a BC Ministry of Education student and has a unique student number with the Ministry. It is referred to as the Personal Education Number (PEN).

● Hayat graduates receive their High School Diploma from the British Columbia Ministry of Education

To graduate from Hayat, students must successfully meet the requirements of the British Columbia Ministry of Education Graduation Program (G10-G12), which include a minimum of 80-course credits and 3 BC Provincial Assessments. Hayat graduates receive the world-renowned British Columbia Graduation Certificate issued by the British Columbia Ministry of Education itself. The school does not give any high school diploma.

Hayat is thoroughly inspected every year by the BC Ministry of Education. The inspection includes around 28 aspects, primary of which, are the school adherence to the BC Curriculum, instructional approaches and assessment system and the commitment that school leadership and teachers are all licensed from the BC Ministry of Education.

● Hayat has maintained its status as a private school of British Columbia since 2010-2011
