Retention

Hayat follows the SEC guidelines for the application of retention for any student. As soon as retention becomes a possibility the school will inform the parents. After all efforts have been attempted and exhausted, we will meet to consider possible options for the student. We will review the admission requirements and placement for the following year; at that time, we will also consider outside assessments for the child. Due to the rigors of our program, we encourage the use of after school tuition for the students who need extra support in keeping up with the demands of bilingual education. This however, will not guarantee the promotion of the child to the next grade.
