Learning the concepts in science is much more difficult for students when they do not know the language and vocabulary. To ensure that students are ready to master the content of their science course without struggling with the words used we have posted lists of vocabulary for each grade from G8 – G10. Students who learn the words and their meanings before they begin the course will find academic success more readily. Students need to become familiar with the vocabulary, its meaning, and its usage so that they are ready to focus on the course content without struggling with the language.
